Most of Miami's population are Cuban Americans. They are very traditional and adorn their homes in family photos. Most are passionate about the nostalgia of the exodus from Cuba. It is important for them to keep their culture and traditions alive. The plants are always green and the air is always heavy and humid. Returning home is always strange. I find myself wanting to return to Miami, expecting to return to a time of youth. I find myself yearning not so much for a physical location but a time that has now escaped me.
