Ash Llanes, born and raised in Miami, Florida is a queer identifying artist who makes personally political work about their Cuban American identity and affinity for Miami. Llanes’ visual medium of collages, books and photography demonstrates a relationship to their upbringing and how it has affected them in their adult life.
